Competed in numerous Time Trial Events, including Tandem Time Trial's.
I am now Treasurer for the club, helping to organise events, visits, and trips abroad. I can thoroughly recommend cycling, especially with the Rotherham Wheelers

I hate riding a bike, but its better than being dragged around Meadowhall! I cycle to work each day - because its quicker than the car and is easier to park!
TIME TRIAL RESULTS PERSONAL BESTS 10 mile 21:21
25 mile 56:20
30 mile 1:12:00
50 mile 1:59:19
100 mile 4:21:20 Born Rotherham 1960 I joined the club in 2006, having been introduced by fellow member Steve Wraith. I just did'nt realise how unfit I really was til I joined this bunch of loonies, but dont be under estimated by the word 'loonies' its meant in the best way possible, and I have great respect for all the guy's, I have learnt an awful lot from these blokes, as they say 'Experience goes a long way'. JON Born: 1968, Sheffield I enjoy cycle racing as a sport, along with my beloved Sheff Utd, and cycling as a hobby and a way of keeping fit. As I used to cycle out with my mate and fellow rider Jon, he got me to join the wheelers in 2007. I don't get out with the club as often as I'd like to, But I'll keep pushing the pedals untill time allows me to re-join the group. SF Born 1974, Rotherham I joined in 2009. I didn’t know anyone and everyone made me feel welcome. I started on the Sunday run, thinking I was no good. It was amazing to see how well I was and how well others help. Needless to say I am faster and fitter and that’s thanks to the brilliant information and encouragement I am getting. My greatest achievement has been to cycle John o’groats to Lands End in 2007. This I did on my touring bike, camping/B&B, all on my own. Which was an achievement in itself as I nearly went mad. LR
